The Elks National Foundation is offering several scholarships in 2023.
“Most Valuable Student” scholarships are for high school seniors who are U.S. citizens. Applications — available at enf.elks.org/mvs — will be judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need. The deadline to apply for 2023 scholarships is Nov. 13.
The Elks National Foundation Scholarship Program provides $2.44 million in scholarships annually. Three boys and three girls will be selected from the local lodge to compete at the district, state and national levels. Awards will be presented in the spring of 2024.
“Legacy Awards” scholarships are for college-bound high school seniors who are the children or grandchildren of dues-paying Elks. Applicants complete against other children and grandchildren from the state of the sponsoring Elk Lodge. Applications are judged on the core values of the Elks National Foundation. Applications can be accessed at enf.elks.org/leg and are due by Feb. 5, 2024.
